Zero Motorcycles continues to expand, recently announcing their 2024 product lineup. This includes several new models and a full-scale revamp of the Zero S, updating one of their most popular models with a new battery, motor, and styling.
Chinese moped giant Yadea is entering the Pakistani market with the T5 electric scooter. Priced at Rs. 245,000 ($859 USD), the L5 is powered by a graphene battery and claims a top speed of 50 km/h (31 mph) with an impressive range of 105 km (65 miles).
Also coming to Pakistan is the BENLY e, an electric moped made by Atlas Honda. This is the first EV to come from Honda’s joint venture with the Atlas Group, one of the largest motorbike manufacturers in Pakistan.

Nine new electric two-wheelers are coming to Thailand under the Smartech-owned FELO and RAPID brands, with a range of models covering everything from efficient commuting scooters to off-road adventure motorcycles.
Known for their racing bikes, Germany-based manufacturer Storck is expanding into the commuting sector. Their recently announced Name:2 features a compact, sporty design with 24-inch wheels and a carbon fiber frame.
Also from Germany is the Geos, a self-titled electric bike targeting the premium commuting sector. It offers transmission customization options, weighs only 15 kg (33 lbs), but has a steep starting price of 4,900 euros (~ $5,300 USD).
The Indian market will see the Dot One launching on December 15th, the second electric moped from startup Simple One. It will share a platform with the flagship One series but priced more affordably under Rs. 1 Lac, with a 3.7 KWH battery providing a range of 151 km (94 miles).
Also coming to India are two new electric mopeds from e-Sprinto named the Roamy and the Rapo. Both models have a range of 100 km (62 miles), a top speed of 40 km/h (25 mph), and a maximum carrying capacity of 150 kg (331 lbs).
Inflation, what inflation? Thanks to expanded production capacity, Land Motorcycles announced it is reducing the pricesfor its Land Moto District by between $800-1,200 (depending on the model). Following the price cut, the bike will now begin at just under $7,000.
