Zypp Electric, the India-based e-moped sharing platform, raised $14 million in its Series C1 fundraising round, which was spearheaded by ENEOS of Japan.

Ola Electric reports a 6% YoY sales growth in May 2024 and a 49% market share in India. The company attributes the healthy numbers to the launch of the popular S1X range of e-mopeds earlier this year.

Amidst a growing trend for larger vehicles (nearly 50% of global vehicle sales in 2023 were SUVs), the Microlino microcar brings a fresh and fun change to UK streets, where it is launching this month.

Black Tea Motorbikes, a German e-mobility startup, announces the Wildfire electric scrambler, the first e-motorcycle in the industry to use sheet metal construction for the frame. The Wildfire will sell for $8,590 and is now available to pre-order.

The aviation industry has ambitious plans to achieve zero carbon emissions by 2050. The transition to Low-Speed Electric Vehicles (LSEVs) for airport operations will be integral to meeting those goals.

Primarily known for its gas-powered OHVs and snowmobiles, Polaris filed patents for an off-road seated electric scooter.

Italian motorcycle brand Ducati introduces the Futa all-road e-bike designed for bikepackers and long-distance touring cyclists. The Futa features a 250W rear hub motor fueled by a frame-integrated battery and comes with a set of Skuad frame and handlebar bags.
