Kingbull, the Los Angeles-based e-bike maker known for its fat-tire models, has launched the Voyager 2.0, a heavy-duty cargo e-bike designed for riders who need more than just range. The model pairs a 750W Bafang hub motor with torque sensing and optional dual Samsung batteries, giving it the strength to carry up to 450 pounds while maintaining balance and efficiency.

Kingbull continues its push into the utility e-bike segment, where brands are competing to turn electric bikes into practical replacements for cars.

Built for Cargo and Control

The Voyager 2.0 has been engineered to move serious weight without losing ride stability. Its welded aluminum frame integrates a one-piece rear rack rated for 200 pounds, transferring load evenly through the chassis. The full payload capacity reaches 450 pounds, placing it among the more capable cargo e-bikes in its price range.

Power comes from a Bafang-customized 750W brushless hub motor that delivers up to 85 Nm of torque. A torque sensor adjusts motor output based on pedaling pressure, improving energy efficiency and extending range. The setup is paired with a 7-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain, allowing riders to switch gears smoothly under load.

The removable Samsung lithium-ion battery is rated at 48V 15Ah (720Wh) and is built with UL-certified cells. Riders can opt for a dual-battery configuration that extends the range up to 100 miles. Charging the single battery takes around six hours using a UL-certified 48V 3.0A smart charger.

Designed for Comfort and Stability

While built for cargo, the Voyager 2.0 also pays attention to comfort and handling. It rides on CST 20x4.0-inch puncture-proof tires, offering stability on loose gravel and pothole-ridden city streets alike.

At the front, Kingbull’s in-house coil spring fork delivers 60 mm of travel with lockout and preload adjustments, helping smooth out bumps. The eco-leather saddle sits on an adjustable seatpost marked with clear scale lines for easy height setting, fitting riders from 5'2" to 6'6".

The handlebar-mounted 4-inch color display shows real-time data such as speed, battery level, and pedal-assist mode. It remains visible in daylight and dims automatically at night to reduce glare.

Safety Features That Go Beyond Basics

For braking, the Voyager 2.0 uses ZOOM hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors and two-piston calipers on both wheels. The system offers consistent stopping power even with a full load.

Lighting and signaling are integrated into the electrical system. A 48V LED headlight, electric horn, and rear brake light improve visibility during night rides. Kingbull also includes fenders, a center-mounted kickstand, and side mirrors as standard equipment.

The bike supports five levels of pedal assist and includes a walk mode, allowing users to push the loaded bike at walking speed.

Built for Utility Riders

Kingbull’s approach with the Voyager 2.0 focuses on function over form. The company includes accessories that many brands sell separately: a rear seat cushion, fold-out footpegs for passengers, a bungee cord for stabilizing cargo, and a compact air pump and cable lock.

The welded rear rack and central kickstand make it easier to load and balance heavy cargo. The design reflects Kingbull’s intent to make cargo e-bikes accessible for everyday use, from deliveries to family transport.

The model arrives as more urban riders turn to e-bikes as car substitutes, and as cities adapt infrastructure to support heavier two-wheel vehicles. The Voyager 2.0’s payload and modular setup position it among emerging workhorse e-bikes like the RadWagon 5 and Blix Packa Genie.

Warranty, Pricing, and Availability

The Voyager 2.0 is covered by a two-year warranty on electrical and mechanical components. Kingbull offers free U.S. shipping and a 15-day return policy, with an expanding dealer network expected to reach nationwide coverage by the end of 2025.

As part of a Halloween promotion running through November 2, the Voyager 2.0 is priced at $1,249 for the single-battery version and $1,549 for the dual-battery version. Buyers purchasing two bikes receive an additional $250 discount.

A Solid Step Forward for Utility e-Bikes

The Voyager 2.0 reflects Kingbull’s steady push into high-performance, utility-focused e-bikes. The company’s commitment to quality components, from Samsung batteries to Bafang motors, and its inclusion of real-world accessories give it an edge in a crowded market.

With over 20k riders already part of the Kingbull community, the brand’s growing reputation for durable, affordable fat-tire e-bikes is set to continue with the Voyager 2.0.
