What is Micromobility?
Initially coined by Micromobility Industries Co-Founder Horace Dediu, the definition is:
Electric vehicles that are less than 1,000 kilograms (2,200 lb).
Micromobility vehicles include, but are not limited to, eBikes, electric scooters, electric skateboards, mopeds, pods, motorcycles, dirt bikes, shared electric fleets, and NEVs (eg. Nieghborhood Electric Vehicles often in the shape of Golf Carts).
Micromobility Industries believes the industry for ownership and usage of micromobility vehicles is over 5 billion people.
