Tobi Taupitz is the CEO & Co-founder of European InsurTech business Laka, an active voice in the UK InsurTech scene, and serving as treasurer for the not-for-profit association InsurTech UK. Before his entrepreneurial journey began, he worked with FinTech & Insurance firms at Barclays Capital and KPMG. Under his leadership, Laka has expanded to provide embedded insurance solutions for Connected Ecosystems providers such as Gazelle, Urban Arrow, Riese & Müller, Decathlon and more. Protecting riders is just one way he hopes to encourage more sustainable forms of transportation.
