Scott Colosimo is the CEO and founder of LAND Energy (2020-Present). Scott’s first startup was Cleveland CycleWerks (CCW 2009-2020), he had a successful exit in 2020. With over 20 years of transportation design for petrol, hybrid and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV), Scott’s experience includes working at Johnson Controls on projects for Ford, Chrysler, GM, Nissan, Hyundai and many other (OEM’s) in addition to working in Germany for Fiat, Mercedes and Avtovas. LAND Energy spun out of CCW in 2020. Since then LAND has scaled with US manufacturing and a unique connected battery platform. LAND’s unique product portfolio and energy focus built upon Scott’s years in the battery electric space. Scott worked for one of the world's largest consumer product companies, Techtronic Industries (TTI). Scott entered TTI right as the Hover brand was transitioning to swappable batteries for vacuum cleaners, his role was as a senior designer for Hoover and Dirt Devil. After leaving TTI, Scott consulted for their Baja motorcycle brand under CCW in 2009. Scott studied as an artist and designer at the Cleveland Institute of Art, earning a degree in Transportation Design. Upon graduation Scott worked as professor in the transportation design department for over 10 years.
