Samhita Shiledar is a Director at RMI, leading initiatives within the Carbon-free Transportation programs to advance clean, efficient, and affordable passenger and freight mobility. Her expertise encompasses research, quantitative analysis, and project management for electrifying two- and three-wheelers, delivery vehicles, and trucks across India, the USA, Southeast Asia, and Africa. She has a strong focus on policy, finance, pilot execution, infrastructure development, corporate collaboration, and consumer awareness. Samhita co-developed the Shoonya – Zero Pollution Mobility campaign, the Zero Emission Trucking Accelerator, Deliver Electric Delhi, and has contributed to national roadmaps for transportation decarbonization. She has co-authored numerous policy briefs and reports on topics such as electric mobility, data-enabled mobility, zero-emission trucking, shared mobility, freight decarbonization, smart cities, and battery manufacturing.
