Philippe Crist

International Mobility Expert

About

Philippe Crist is a recognised international expert on mobility and innovation policies. At the core of all of his work is the conviction that policies must serve people in their day-to-day lives and that technology only helps when it helps all, not just a few. A French-American dual national, he is an ex-competitive cyclist and and does much of his best thinking on a bicycle.

He is also Senior Advisor at the International Transport Forum (ITF) at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) where he acts as knowledge lead on many core urban mobility, active travel, innovation and foresight topics. In that capacity, he has authored and co-authored many reports including "Good to Go? Assessing the Environmental Performance of New Mobility", "Greener Micromobility", "Safe Micromobility" (and its follow-up "Safer Micromobility"), “Improving the Quality of Walking and Cycling in Cities”, “Towards the Light: Effective Light Mobility Policies in Cities” and “Streets that Fit: Re-allocating Space for Better Cities”.
