Michael Frumin is VP of Technology at Lyft Urban Solutions, where he leads product, engineering, data science, and design for Lyft's global micromobility business unit. He has spent the last two decades at the intersection of cities, technology, and transportation, including 12 years in micromobility. Before that, he designed and delivered MTA's real-time bus tracking system for New York's 6,000-bus fleet. He holds master's degrees from MIT in Transportation and in Operations Research, and a BS in Computer Science from Stanford. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Michael is raising his family there car-free, and has logged 3,000 rides on Citi Bike — the bikeshare system he helped build.
