About

Jessica has over the past two decades consulted and advised on hundreds of projects and policy efforts in the sustainable and emerging mobility realm. She recently co-founded OptiMobility Solutions, providing executive advisory services forging connections in placemaking, mobility, and technology. In her day job, Jessica oversees Stanford University’s award-winning Transportation Demand Management program and represents and supports the institution on transportation policy matters. Prior to Stanford, she was a planner and principal at Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates and Trivector Traffic, two thought leaders on transportation solutions that put people first. She is a trusted Board member of one of the Bay Area’s 27 transit agencies: Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA), which oversees San Francisco Bay Ferry’s operations. She is also on the Executive Committee of the Association for Commuter Transportation’s (ACT’s) Board of Directors. She is optimistic about the future, recognizing that as long as we promote sustainable and equitable practices, our communities can mature beautifully through the coming mobility revolution.
