Helen Sharp is the E-Scooter rental trial lead for Transport for London (TfL). The e-scooter rental trial launched in June 2021 and to date has 10 participating boroughs across the capital. The scheme is part of the wider e-scooter trials running across the UK, following legislation in summer 2020. The trial seeks to collect data to inform future legislation, regulation and policy and is due to run till May 2024. At TfL Helen was previously Head of Business Development for Cycle Hire, accountable for the growth of Santander Cycles, with particular focus on revenue and customer growth and building value for sponsors, partners and suppliers. Prior to TfL Helen worked for Capgemini as a management consultant across a range of industries including financial services, consumer products and pharmaceuticals.
