About

Emil Moselund is a political scientist, public affairs professional and elected member of the Copenhagen City Council for the Danish Social Liberal Party, Radikale Venstre, where he has served since 2022.

From 2019 to 2022, he worked at the Danish Parliament as an adviser to Martin Lidegaard, including during Lidegaard’s tenure as chair of the Foreign Policy Committee. In that role, Emil worked closely with Danish foreign policy, security policy and climate policy, gaining extensive experience in political advisory work, strategic analysis and cooperation between Parliament, ministries, international actors and the private sector.

For many years, Emil has worked with climate policy and the green transition across political, administrative and advisory roles. His work has focused particularly on the intersection between climate, security policy, business development and Europe’s strategic autonomy. He has worked on how the green transition is not only a climate agenda, but also a question of energy security, competitiveness, geopolitical resilience and Europe’s ability to stand stronger in an increasingly uncertain world.

Alongside his political work, Emil has worked as a consultant and public affairs adviser for various national and international organisations. In these roles, he has worked with strategic advisory services, political analysis, partnerships and stakeholder engagement across climate, energy, business and public policy.

In the Copenhagen City Council, Emil focuses especially on green transition, urban development, business policy and the role of cities in delivering concrete solutions to major societal challenges. His profile sits at the intersection of political strategy, climate policy, international affairs and the ability to translate complex agendas into practical action.
