Colin Hughes is a Principal Consultant at Rebel Payments, Mobility, and Insights. Colin’s work supports governments and transit agencies in adopting new technologies and helping the private sector align their businesses and investments with public policy goals. Previously, Colin spent six years working at the forefront of micromobility, leading bikeshare policy in California for Lyft, as Head of Micromobility Policy for Uber, and as General Manager of the world’s first dockless e-bikeshare for JUMP in Washington, DC. Colin was also formerly the Director of Policy for the global non-profit Institute for Transportation and Development Policy, worked in infrastructure finance for The Asian Development Bank, and in research and planning for Bay Area Rapid Transit. Colin is based in Oakland, CA.
