Under Candice’s Xie’s leadership, Veo deliberately and selectively grew its market presence in the U.S. and became the first profitable micromobility company in the industry.

Inspired by the challenges of creating a sustainable transportation system with stellar products, Candice left corporate America to launch Veo in 2017. She knew success required building respectful relationships with communities and providing durable equipment designed exclusively for shared use. Candice has a deep understanding of how to balance the safety and regulatory needs of communities with the unlock-and-go mentality of riders.

Before founding Veo, Candice was a Financial Analyst at Schneider Electric. She graduated with distinction with a BS in finance from Purdue University.
