Our focus at Micromobility Europe 2023 is to shine a light on the growth of the industry and how much it has changed in the last few years.. 

At Micromobility Europe in Amsterdam on June 8th and 9th we will have 3 distinct stages:

Ride Stage: Micromobility vehicles are outselling electric cars 

With this stage we will be highlighting the explosion of owned micromobility. Consumers have voted with their wallet and now micromobility vehicle sales outpace electric car sales. You will hear from the CEOs and leadership from top tier micromobility brands across ebikes, motorcycles, dirt bikes, scooters, Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs), and more. Themes include: 

• New Products: New vehicles unveiled for the first time from some of the biggest brands in the world. 
• The Road to Retail: Micromobility companies look to broaden distribution and build a true omnichannel presence for both sales and services. 
• Becoming Vehicle Companies: Increasingly micromobility brands sell more than one type of vehicle, what is behind this trend and will micro companies continue to move up the stack in to “heavier” vehicles?

City & Policy Stage: Show me the incentives and I’ll show you the outcome 

Cities and their policies around the world have attempted to crush shared micromobility companies in more ways than one. Even with the shocking lack of support, shared companies continue to grow and find new avenues for success. At the same time, governments are dealing with the overwhelming demand from their constituency who want small electric vehicles and expect more safety and incentives to help them realize their vision for a micro world. As Charlie Munger once said, “Show me the incentives and I’ll show you the outcome”... Themes will include:

• Incentives: Electric Cars are getting the lion's share of incentives, how could this be shifted? 
• Software cities: The software coming in to cities continues to make us safer and move us more efficiently. Who is doing it best and what is still needed?  
• Shared strategies: Coming out of the ashes of busted SPACs and cities like Paris feeding scooters sour grapes, what is the future of shared and who has the political will to take it to the next level? 

Startup Stage: Ship or die 

We continue to see a Cambrian explosion of startups around the world and it wouldn’t be a Micromobility Europe show with highlighting the amazing invention and entrepreneurship around the world. We will also dive into VC fundraising and retail strategies and try to define the best way to grow. We want this stage to be full of new ideas and new launches where contestants can both pitch off and launch off and be judged by some of the very best in VC and retail buyers from around the world. Themes include: 

• Pitch Contest: Product isn’t ready yet but the idea is. Let’s hear it and see if you can win best pitch at Micromobility Europe.
• Launch Contest: Product is ready to go and the press, influencers, VCs, retails and consumers are here to judge it. Let’s ride! 
• Fundraising and Growth strategies: To VC or not to VC? That is one question.. DTC or omnichannel from day one? To kickstart or not? Let’s go through it all and find the best growth strategy for your startup.
